Little Einstein Pat Pat Rocket

***TARGET.COM AS WELL AS A LOT OF TARGET RETAIL STORES NOW HAVE THIS IN STOCK. FISHER PRICE RECENTLY SENT A BIG SHIPMENT OUT. HOWEVER YOU SHOULD REALLY JUMP ON IT. I TALKED TO A LADY AT MY LOCAL TARGET AND SHE SAID THEY ONLY GOT FIVE IN YESTERDAY AND TODAY THEY HAVE ONE LEFT. SO THEY ARE STILL HARD TO COME BY. GET IT WHILE YOU CAN.***

Product Info: This is the small version of "rocket" from the hit Disney show, Little Einsteins. Plays classical music and other of rocket's sound effects. Music will play fast if you roll rocket fast (allegro) or if you roll rocket slowly, then the music will slow down (adagio). This comes with all four characters, and each character has their own seat in Rocket.

Age recommendation: I would say it is preschool and up. This toy is a little heavy for a preschooler so they may have a tough time holding it up, however they can always roll it around on tables or floors.

Other Info: Rocket works with the two other playsets (sold separately). These missions are the Alaska Mission, and the Egypt Mission. If your child watches the show, then they would have seen these episodes. These missions come with a gadget that will release educational content regarding that specific mission.

Average Price: Rocket is $39.99. The missions are $14.99 each. These items are TARGET EXCLUSIVES, meaning you can only purchase them at your local Target and Target Online. From my research I found that this is made by Fisher Price and should be clear of of any lead recalls. Fisher Price put this item on backorder during the whole month of September so that they could make sure that this toy had no lead defects. It was redistributed again in mid october.

Information regarding availability: This toy is extremely hard to find. It released in August and ever since then finding one of them is like searching for a needle in a haystack. You can also bite the bullet and overpay for one on Ebay. I was able to snag one at my local Target. How? What I did was first check online for availability. Target online has a button where you can enter your zip code and it will pull up the Target's in your area and whether they have any. Be warned though that this is not entirely accurate and you are probably better off calling each Target. If they do have one, most Target's will do a 24 hour hold for you.

My opinion: I am saving this for my son for Christmas, however I did test it out first and its a great toy from what I can see without playing with it too much. The volume is a little loud though. If you are able to get one, your little one will love this toy. I will do an updated review after Christmas and after my son plays with it more.
